We are pleased to announce that at the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council held on 21 May, Cllr John Burns was elected as the new Chairman.
Cllr Burns said: “It is a real honour to be elected as Chairman. I look forward to working with fellow councillors and our community to continue building on the strong foundations already in place and to ensure that Claygate remains a great place to live and work.”
Cllr Burns extended his thanks to Cllr Donna Holt, who has served as Chair for the past three years. Donna’s dedication, leadership and commitment to the community during her tenure have been greatly appreciated.
