Claygate Parish Council would like you to know that they maintain their historic stance that there should be no development on Claygate’s Green Belt
Later this month, the Government is expected to issue the revised National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF), accompanied by drastically increased housing targets for most Local Authorities outside London.
These policy changes will increase pressure for denser development and encroachment on the Green Belt. Your Parish Council will be monitoring developments carefully and will continue to resist any attempts to encroach on Claygate’s Green Belt.
